Columbus Food Adventures

Columbus Food Adventures offers small group guided food tours. These include a German Village walking & tasting tour and tours of other parts of Columbus. Itineraries include: desserts, the Short North, ethnic food and taco trucks. A food tour is a cross between a guided tour and a progressive dinner with 5-7 restaurant stops and food tastings included at each stop. The German Village tour is currently offered on alternate Saturdays at 2pm.

Website includes calendar of our scheduled tours as well as videos, photos and information about each tour. Tickets must be purchased in advance either online or by calling 1-800-838-3006. We can accommodate most dietary restrictions with advance notice. We also offer private group tours.

Max & Erma’s

In 1972, Todd Barnum and Barry Zacks walked into a sleepy little bar owned by a couple named Max and Erma. Todd and Barry offered to buy the place and sealed the deal with a handshake.
